Hello all.
So I just got hired for a company that sells hardware. They are housing a program called epicor which I've never heard of before so I've been studying up on it and it doesn't look TOO hard. I am a former squadron commander for a cadet program for 5 years while I was in college. So I do have management experience just not in the IT field and I'm a little better than average web developer.
Now here is the problem im tasked with syncing all of the items to the website through epicor... Shouldn't be too hard and they want me to set up the IT/Web department and I pretty much have free reign to point it in the direction that I feel is right. But that is such a broad task I'm not totally sure what my tasks should be. So for all of the managers out there is there any advice that you can give me to step out with my best foot forward? Thanks in advance.
